January 26th: Solution 65

Don't miss Cathy Wilkinson and Kimberly Duty from Solution 65 this Friday at 12:00! Come to Burruss Hall (Room 224A) to learn more about senior living design. 

Cathy graduated from Radford with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and has been practicing in senior living design for over 20 years. She has worked in Richmond and Roanoke and started Solution 65 with her partners a few years earlier.

Kimberly graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in May of 2016. Prior to Solution 65, she has had internships at Healthcare and Hospitality firms.

January 19th: IIDA

Join us Friday at noon in Burruss (Room 224A) to hear speakers, Kelley Davis and Mary Redd, discuss our IIDA student chapter here at Virginia Tech!

Kelley graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.  She has a strong design background that includes Corporate, Hospitality, Healthcare, Retail, GSA, State and Local, Higher Ed and Residential projects.  

Mary is a Market Sales Manager for Kimball in the Virginia territory. Her responsibilities include dealer management, new business development, growing sales and brand awareness. Mary’s educational background of architecture and interior design has been a proven asset helping to provide insight and expertise for each client.

December 8th: Steelcase

Janet Davis from Steelcase is coming to speak at 12PM this Friday! Come visit room 224A in Burruss to hear more about her and the firm.

Janet began her Steelcase career in 1990 and during her tenure has worked in product marketing, dealer development and sales management. Janet graduated from The College of William & Mary in Virginia with a degree in Business Management. She also holds an MBA from George Mason University.

December 1st: Fanelli Mcclain

Join us Friday at 12 PM to hear Rich Fanelli speak from Fanelli Mcclain! 

Richard Fanelli is a registered architect and has been in the commercial design profession since 1977. Working as an architect and designer for both local and national design firms in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., he founded Fanelli McClain in 1985. Rich’s clients benefit from his knowledge of facilities management trends and best practices. He has been an active member of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), where he has served as President of the Capital Chapter and on the IFMA International Board of Directors.
