September 15: ASID Panel

Join us at 12 PM on Friday to listen to a panel discussion assembled by the ASID Virginia Chapter. The panel of interdisciplinary professionals is listed below.

Colin Arnold established CHP Design Studio and is an NCARB certified, LEED®2.0 Accredited Professional with more than 20 years of design experience. 

Nell Boyle is the voice of the city regarding green practices. Ms. Boyle is a LEED Accedited Professional and is the Sustainablility Coordinator for the City of Roanoke.

Co-founder of CIRCLE Design Studio, Theresa Dorlini, has 20 years of interior design experience practicing in Arizona, Florida, and Virginia.

Rick Hughes became a Principal and Vice President for LPA and has experience in project management, design, analysis, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Honored as a LEED Fellow, Sharlyn Thacker runs her own business providing green strategy and green building consulting through H2 Ecodesign.

September 8: Haworth 

Join us Friday at 12 PM to hear Allison Harris from Haworth speak. 

Allison graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She currently works at Haworth as the Territory Sales Manager for the Hampton Roads area. She started her Interior Design career in Norfolk, Virginia working for Lyall Design focusing primarily on Healthcare projects. During that time, she became active in local AIA and Habitat for Humanity chapters putting on several design competitions and events.  After practicing Interior Design for five years, she switched gears and worked for Bentley Mills as an Account Executive for the Virginia territory. She loves the sales side of the industry and the ability to help her clients solve their design problems. She is currently the Professional Development Director for ASID Virginia and is involved with Student Career Day and the annual IDEA’s Awards Competition.
